A Proposal
The Crystal Pyramid is in need of a client and a site for construction. We have prepared a short, 6-minute video proposal.

My mind is never far from the application of stained glass sculpture to a landscape. Working on a small cube sculpture, I wondered what it would be like to be inside the cube, or any glass sculpture, looking out. I could almost see a light-animated glass pyramid that could be entered. There would be seating and music in its inner chamber. At night it would be illuminated.
The pyramid form has a strong association with my quest for contemporary symbolism. The pyramids of Egypt were tombs for the ruling class of ancient kingdoms, monuments to the mysteries of an afterlife. A colored glass pyramid is the ultimate contrast to darkness and mystery. It manifests the democratic transparency so essential to modern life.
